Event details
The Dimple Dell Half Marathon takes place in Sandy, Utah on October 10, 2026. The race starts and finishes at Lone Peak Park (10140 S 700 E, Sandy, UT 84070). The event is limited to 250 half marathon runners. Registration prices change by period: early, normal, and late entry fees are listed. Packet pickup is available the day before at Salt Lake Running Company and on race day at the start area. There is free parking at the park with about 50 spaces in one corner and three additional parking lots of roughly 150 spaces each.
Course and race services
The course is a rolling trail route that drops from Lone Peak Park into Dimple Dell canyon and follows wood-chipped and single-track trails, with bridges, a tunnel, and a rim-trail turn around at Granite Park Aid Station. The half marathon is 13.0 miles with a net elevation change of +1,176 ft and is approximately 95% trail and 5% paved. Split segments and aid stations include bathroom facilities at several points: Start to Aid 1 (2.5 miles), Aid 1 to Aid 2 (4 miles), Aid 2 to Aid 3 (4 miles), and Aid 3 to Finish (2.5 miles). Aid stations provide Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels/waffles, fruit, and snacks. Courses are marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. There is no cutoff time. Participants receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal; post-race food includes items from Great Harvest Bread.
