2026 John Wichers MRA Family Ice Cream Run #5
This event takes place on August 12, 2026 at Grant's Old Mill walking path, Sturgeon Creek Parkway, Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is organized by the Manitoba Runners' Association as part of the MRA Family Ice Cream Run Series.
The series includes six events: July 8 at Crescent Drive Park, Winnipeg; July 15 at Hespeler Park, Niverville; July 22 at Transcona Trail, Park City West CC, Winnipeg; August 5 at Morden Park, Morden; August 12 at Grant's Old Mill, Winnipeg; and August 26 at Bunn's Creek Park, Winnipeg.
Registration is available online and on site. An entry form may be downloaded and brought to the event. Participants may choose their distance on the day of the event. Family registration for August 12 covers 3 to 7 members and costs CA$34.40; each family member must be registered as an additional registrant. Individual registration for August 12 is CA$12.86.
Strollers are welcome and dogs on a leash are permitted. All six events in the series are eligible for points in the 2026 MRA Youth Race Series. The event is sponsored by Access Storage Winnipeg. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
