Event overview
The Turtleman Triathlon is scheduled for July 18, 2026, at Turtle Lake Park in Shoreview, Minnesota. The event offers Sprint and Olympic triathlon distances plus Aqua (swim-bike only) divisions. Time trial and self-seeded swim starts are used for all triathlons. Relay teams are allowed for both distances. Results are provided by frontrunnerusa.com and a professional photographer will be on site.
Race details and logistics
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike, 5.5 mile run
- Aqua Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, no run
- Aqua Olympic: 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike, no run
Packet pick-up takes place on race day at Turtle Lake Park and includes bib, timing chip, event shirt (if selected), and finisher medal. Athletes must wear the timing chip on the left ankle for triathlons. Free parking is available across the street from the park. Age-group awards are given to the top three men and women in age categories from 19 and Under through 70+. Overall top male and female winners are recognized and are not eligible for age-group awards. The event policy states no refunds and race numbers may not be transferable.
