Course Details
The course is a 5-mile trail run. The route is marked with flags and arrow signs at major turns. Participants should be prepared for natural trail elements, which may include mud, bugs, and a pond crossing near the finish. A detour around the pond is available, adding approximately 0.10 miles to the total distance. An aid station offering water and Gatorade is located a little past mile 3. Runners are advised to consider bringing a personal hydration system and bug spray.
Post-Race Information
All runners receive a water bottle for signing up. After the race, water, Gatorade, and snacks will be available. Timing is described as "old school," where finishers receive a stick to turn in. There is no formal awards ceremony; medals for overall men's and women's winners and top three age group finishers are distributed when the timing stick is returned.

The event is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS), which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana (Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties).
