Jelly Bean 5K
The Jelly Bean 5K is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Fairy Lake Park in Newmarket, Ontario. The event marks the 10th anniversary of the race and is announced as the final edition. It is presented by the Newmarket Road Runners and raises funds in support of LOFT Community Services.
The event offers two distances:
- 5K Jelly Bean 5K race
- 1K Kids' Fun Run
The 5K follows the Tom Taylor Trail, described as a scenic, peaceful, flat route. The 1K is intended for children; parents or guardians may run with a child without registering for the 1K. The 5K entry includes JB5K-branded gloves, chip timing, a finisher medal, a jelly bean aid station at the halfway point, finish-line snacks, and jelly bean prizes for the top three male and top three female finishers, with additional bonus prizes to be announced. The 1K includes a race bib, finisher medal, the jelly bean aid station, and finish-line snacks. Registration fees listed are CA$75 plus tax and fees for the 5K with an early-bird rate of CA$50 for the first 50 entrants, and CA$20 plus tax and fees for the 1K.
