Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women - Markham 2026
The Shoppers Drug Mart® Run for Women is a community sports event held in Markham, Ontario. The event is hosted at Millennium Park, located at 100 Town Centre Blvd. This initiative raises funds for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, specifically supporting women's mental health programs.
The contributions and participation support essential clinical services, including art therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, interpersonal therapy, and postpartum cognitive behavioral therapy. These services aim to assist women dealing with depression and anxiety during various life stages, such as pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 10 km run
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km Little Steps
The event schedule includes a welcome session and a group warm-up before the start of the races. Options are available for individual registration, team participation, and a Corporate Challenge. Race kits are provided to participants, with designated pickup times prior to the event day.
