Iron Pickle 5K presented by Canton Pickle Fest
The event takes place at the Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton, Ohio, as part of the Canton Pickle Fest. It includes in-person and virtual running events and is organized by LHG Productions with timing by RacePenguin.

The Iron Pickle Challenge is an optional add-on in which participants carry either a jar of pickles from Crazy Cucumber or a giant inflatable pickle across the finish line to earn a special Iron Pickle Award. All finishers receive an Iron Pickle medal. Virtual participants complete a 5K between May 30 and June 30, 2026, submit their time, receive a shirt and medal, and do not qualify for overall or age group awards; virtual packets are mailed by Friday, June 5.
T shirts are available in youth and adult sizes with a $5 discount for the no shirt option; selections are limited after May 11. Awards include top three overall male and female and age group recognitions in the listed age brackets. Best Dressed honors recognize creative pickle costumes. The race is integrated with a pickle festival that features more than thirty pickle themed vendors, food trucks, specialty drinks, a scavenger hunt, local vendors, and live entertainment.
