Independence Day 5K Run/Walk and Community Races : Myrtle Beach
This event on July 4, 2026 takes place at Grand Park Lake Courtyard on Farrow Parkway at the corner of Nevers Street and Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach, SC. The program includes a certified 5K course and two shorter community races.

- 3.1 Miles Independence Day 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Uncle Sam's Fun Run/Walk
- 50 Yards Stars and Stripes Kids' Dash
The 5K is a USATF certified course (SC21001BW). There is no water stop on the 5K course. Animals, baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles and other wheeled devices are not permitted on any race course and will result in disqualification. The 1 Mile Fun Run and the Kids' Dash are untimed and receive no awards. The Kids' Dash is free but requires online registration and completion of a liability waiver; it finishes at the 5K finish line.
Participant items and logistics include participant shirts for the 5K and 1 Mile while supplies last, participant medals and race bibs, and a finisher gift option for the Kids' Dash. Packet pickup locations include Native Sons on Executive Avenue and the Grand Park Lake courtyard. Free parking is available in the Farrow Parking Garage and along side streets in Market Common.
