17th Annual Surfside Beach Turkey Trot 5K
The event on November 26, 2026, includes a 5K run/walk and a separate Gobbler Kids' Dash of 50 yards. The 5K course begins with an ocean view, follows Ocean Boulevard, and continues through neighborhood streets of Surfside Beach.

Race operations use gun timing for overall awards and chip timing for age group awards. There is no water stop on course; post race water and snacks are provided for participants. Animals and wheeled devices such as baby strollers, skateboards, roller blades, and unauthorized bicycles are not permitted on the race course; service animals and recognized mobility aids are permitted with prior notification and are asked to start at the back for safety.
Participant items include a 5K participant shirt while supplies last, optional Gobbler Dash shirt add on, participant medals, and race bibs. Registration is available only online and closes on November 26, 2026. Packet pickup is offered prior to race day at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel, at a location to be announced the day before the race, and on race morning near the start and finish.
Parking is available adjacent to Ocean Boulevard and Surfside Pier. Portable restrooms are located near the start and finish. Awards are given for overall and age group places in the 5K; there are no awards for the Gobbler Kids' Dash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
