Plantation Lakes Turkey Trot
The Plantation Lakes Turkey Trot is a community running event held on Thanksgiving Day in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Located within the Plantation Lakes neighborhood in the Carolina Forest area, the event serves as a local holiday tradition. Participants move through the community's streets, starting and finishing near the local Amenity Center.
Available distances include:
- 5k run or walk
- 1 mile Gobble Wobble for adults
- 1 mile Gobble Wobble for children aged 12 and under
The course routes utilize local roads such as Juxa Drive and Wacobee Drive. Participants who complete their chosen event are eligible to receive a shirt and a finisher medal.
Registration and logistics are centered at the neighborhood Amenity Center. Race materials can be collected during scheduled packet pickup times on the Wednesday before the race or on the morning of the event.
