About the race
The Idyllwild Race 5K/10K is a community road race set in the town of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains, scheduled for August 21, 2027. The event resumes after a pandemic hiatus and introduces a new course that stays centered in town while routing runners along scenic, high-altitude mountain roads.
Organized by the Idyllwild Race Committee, a 501c3, the event has a long history of community support spanning more than 45 years.
