Event overview
The Hummelstown Hunger Run takes place on May 9, 2026 at Schaffner Park (Boro Park), Corner of Poplar Ave. and Water St., Hummelstown, PA 17036. Proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry. The event offers multiple distances along the streets of Hummelstown and is pet and stroller friendly.

Registration, amenities and awards
Individual entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and 5 Mile runs, with a student rate of $20; the 5K walk is listed at $20. Registrants receive a gift bag that includes a race T-shirt; T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by April 21. Early packet pick-up is available at the park pavilion the day before the event and day-of packet pick-up is available on site. Participants and volunteers who bring a non-perishable food item are entered into a drawing for gift certificates from local sponsors.
Top male and female finishers in the 5K and 5 Mile events receive cash prizes of $75, $50 and $30 for first through third places, plus medals. Additional awards include age-group placements, stroller and dog categories, and selections from a prize table. On-site restroom facilities and on- or off-street parking are available.
