Race Information
The Pie Gobbler event is part of the US Road Running series and takes place at City Island in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This event features multiple distances and follows a traditional theme where participants receive an individual pie upon completing their race. The event is open to all runners who register in advance, as there is no on-site or race-day registration available.
The competition offers three primary distances:
- 5K
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 1.56-mile out-and-back route. Runners participating in the 5K complete the course once, while those in the 10K complete it twice. The Half Marathon follows a 1.64-mile out-and-back course which participants must complete four times.
All finishers receive a medal for their participation. There is a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all activities on the course. Packet pickup is scheduled at the race location starting 90 minutes before the event begins and concludes 25 minutes prior to the start.
