A Race to Remember 5K - Rome, GA
A Race to Remember includes a timed 5K run and a 1 mile health walk held in Rome, Georgia on June 27, 2026. Proceeds benefit local dementia care needs, a regional caring closet, a local grant program, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

The 5K uses an out-and-back route along the Oostanaula River and a nearby trail, with both start and finish at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk. The course is certified and is listed as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Timing is provided using MyLaps R.F.I.D. technology.
All registered participants receive a T-shirt; T-shirt size is guaranteed for those who pre-register before the stated pre-registration deadline. Packet pickup is available at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk prior to race day and at the hotel entrance on race morning. Day-of registration is offered at the hotel entrance for a higher fee.
Awards for the 5K include cash gift cards for 1st through 3rd overall male and female finishers, an overall master award, and medals by age group from 10 & Under through 70 & Over. The 1 mile health walk includes an award for the fastest child age 6 and under. A water station is placed along the course, with water and post-race snacks at the finish.
