Horsham 10k
The Horsham 10k is a community road and trail race organised by Horsham Joggers. The main event uses a two-lap course on a mix of roads and trails and starts and finishes at Horsham Rugby Club on Hammerpond Road, Horsham. The race day programme also includes a Dinosaur Race, a junior fun run and a prize giving.
A virtual option called the Horsham Virtual 10k is offered separately; virtual participants can collect coloured medals in a sequence (red or orange now, followed in future years by yellow, then green, blue, indigo and violet).
The club publishes course maps and a marshal map for the route. The postcode RH13 6PJ is listed for the venue but may direct to a nearby private housing estate where car parking is not allowed. There are no road closures for the event and information leaflets are delivered to local residents in advance.
Horsham Joggers rely on a large volunteer team to stage the event and request substantial member support on race day, typically close to 100 volunteers. Results and past race results are recorded and made available after each event. Entries for future editions are routinely opened by the organisers.
