Honest 10
The Honest 10 is a professionally and accurately measured 10 km fun run held once a month on a flat out-and-back course along the Wellington waterfront. The course starts at the Freyberg Pool carpark, heads south towards the Wind Needle, and returns to the start. A shorter 5 km option turns around earlier and also finishes at the start location.

Entry fees are stated as $10 for the 10 km and $5 for the 5 km. Pre-registration by email is encouraged to reduce queuing on race morning; prepayment options are available. There is an option to request an earlier start if a participant expects to take substantially longer than the main field.
If conditions on race day include severe wind considered unsafe for participants, the event may be cancelled; updates are posted on the event Facebook page. Vaccine passes and QR scanning are no longer required, but masks are requested at registration and social distancing is encouraged before and after the event. The organisers currently cannot provide age-calculated results for the gender-diverse (D) category because the source of age-calculated data supplies results only for M and F.
