The 2026 Holy Trail Festival of Running is scheduled for 9 May 2026 at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Suffolk. The event is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd. Entries open 1 June 2025 and close 18 April 2026. There are 24 participants registered so far. Entry fees vary by distance, membership and date: the 50 mile fee ranges from £100 to £107 and the 50 km fee ranges from £65 to £72.
Race details and services
- 50 mile - circular route, starts and finishes at Nicholas Everitt Park, 15 hour time limit.
- 50 km - starts at Holton Village Hall, finishes at Nicholas Everitt Park, 10 hour time limit.
Minimum age for both distances is 20 years. The entry includes a medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid support, and a light meal with hot drinks at the finish. Prizes are offered for first, second and third places in the Female and Male/Open categories. Transfers of entries to another participant are allowed until 25 April 2026. A race t-shirt is available to purchase during entry. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
