2026 Holy Trail Festival of Running : event details
The event takes place on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Suffolk. It is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd. Entries open 1 June 2025 and close 18 April 2026. The minimum age for both distances is 20 years. Entries so far: 32 participants.
- 50 Mile - circular route; starts and finishes at Nicholas Everitt Park; 15 hour limit.
- 50 km - starts Holton Village Hall, finishes Nicholas Everitt Park; 10 hour limit.
Entries, fees and services
Entry fees are: UKA Member - 50 Mile £105.00, Non Member - 50 Mile £107.00, UKA Member - 50 KM £70.00, Non Member - 50 KM £72.00. No additional admin or processing fees are charged.
The entry includes a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, a light meal and hot drinks at the finish, and prizes for the first three finishers in Female and Male/Open categories. A race t-shirt is available to purchase when entering. Deferrals are not allowed; transfers or resale of an entry via the event system are permitted until 25 April 2026. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules; permit number is to be confirmed. There are railway stations within a short walk of the start and finish.
