Reindeer Run 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon, Griffith Park
The Reindeer Run takes place at Griffith Park on December 19, 2026, with start and finish on a grass area near picnic tables close to the Merry Go Round and the corner of Crystal Springs Drive and Fire Road. Parking is available in the large lot near the Merry Go Round.
The course is an open, shared trail on hard packed dirt used as a horse trail, with a brief street crossing. The route will be marked with cones and signs. Participants share the path with pedestrians, other runners, and equestrians; runners are asked to stay to the right and pass on the left. The turnaround is located off to the side of the trail. An aid station at the turnaround provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.

- Half marathon 3 x 4.37 mi loop
Registration details include custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live finish results, trophies and age group awards (picked up at the race), an event app for race tracking, assorted snacks, and group discounts for multiple entrants. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies to the half marathon. Transfers are possible by contacting the organizer; no refunds are offered.
