EDRRC - The JYD 29th Annual Hilltopper Half
The Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club is organizing the JYD Hilltopper Half in Millbrook, NY on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The event is a half marathon of 13.1 miles held at Millbrook School (296 Millbrook School Rd). Net proceeds and donations will support the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.
Course, logistics and entry
The course follows country roads through the town of Washington and features views of lakes, ponds, and farmland. The route includes many hills with an elevation gain of 787 feet. Roads will remain open during the event and self-service water stations will be available every few miles. A 5-hour time limit applies and the field is capped at 50 participants. There is no race-day sign-up. Registration information lists fees for non-members and members; discounted pricing is available for club members. A finisher medal is guaranteed to participants who register before a date to be determined.
Parking is available at Trevor Zoo on the Millbrook School campus (282 Millbrook School Rd). Overall awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in Male, Female, and Non-Binary divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
