The Hillsborough Castle & Gardens Running Festival is set to take place on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens in County Down. Participants can choose from an U16 5k, adult 5k, 10k, or half marathon, with the races starting within the beautiful grounds of Hillsborough Castle. The routes will take runners through forest areas, past historic attractions like Hillsborough Fort and Hillsborough Lake, and along Ballynahinch road before finishing back at the castle grounds. The event offers chip-timed results, themed medals, free official photos, post-race goodies, and pacers to assist runners.
