About the race
HERS Breast Cancer Foundation’s 27th annual Walk/Run Fundraiser and Community Expo takes place at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area in Fremont, CA. The event offers timed run and walk options, a virtual participation option, and youth categories. Funds raised support low-income, under-insured, and uninsured HERS patients by providing post-surgical products and services. Event features include an opening ceremony with a symbolic dove release, warmup activities, a superhero costume contest with prizes, a community expo with local giveaways, music and entertainment, photo opportunities, and family-friendly activities.
Registrants receive a commemorative event t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a light breakfast. Registration is available online only, refunds are not offered, and t-shirt size availability is not guaranteed after 2026-09-12. Parking inside the park lot has a $5 fee and the park operates cashless; credit card and tap-to-pay are accepted at the entrance booth.
