HERS 27th Annual Breast Cancer Walk/Run Fundraiser and Community Expo
The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation holds its 27th annual walk and run event on September 26, 2026 at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area in Fremont, California. The event is a community fundraiser to help low income, underinsured, and uninsured HERS patients obtain post surgical products and related services.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K walk
- timed 5K run
- timed 10K run
- youth 5K and youth 10K options
- virtual run or walk
Event features include opening ceremonies with a symbolic dove release, warmup activities, a superhero costume contest with prizes, a community expo with giveaways, music, entertainment, photo opportunities, and family friendly activities. Registrant benefits listed are a commemorative event t shirt, a finisher medal, and a light breakfast.
Registration is available online only and registrations are non refundable. The event t shirt cutoff date is September 12, 2026 and sizes are not guaranteed after that date. Parking inside the park lot has a $5 fee and Quarry Lakes operates cashless payment at the entrance booth.
