Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot
The Bishop Ranch Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving Day event held at Bishop Ranch City Center in San Ramon. The course takes participants around local lakes and gardens on a flat route consisting of both pavement and packed dirt surfaces. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions, proceeding in both rain and sunshine.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5k run or walk
- .05k Tiny Turkey run for children aged 5 and under
The 5k race is chip-timed. Registration for this distance includes a custom bib, a long-sleeved t-shirt, and a wooden finishers medallion. The Tiny Turkey event involves a short run around the City Center where all participants are recognized. Spectators are permitted to gather along the course to support the runners.
