Helping Our Families In-Stride 5k
The Helping Our Families In-Stride 5k is a community 5K run/walk held on April 26, 2026, at Eastwood Metropark in Dayton, OH. The event is organised by Helping Our Families, a non-profit focused on improving the quality of life for families in the Greater Dayton area.

The organisation reports recent program outcomes from 2024: 19 families received emergency fund assistance that helped them avoid eviction or pay for groceries; 40 Dayton Public School students were registered at the Grandview Learning Lab for afterschool tutoring; and 169 mothers and children received Christmas gifts who would otherwise have had none.
