The Superhero 5k for Child Abuse Awareness is hosted by Violence Free Futures. It is a run and walk event held in Xenia, Ohio.
Distances
The event offers two options:
- A 5k in-person run/walk.
- A virtual 5k.
Location and Fees
The in-person event starts and finishes at Faith Community Methodist Church on 100 Country Club Drive in Xenia. The registration fee for the in-person event is $30, which includes an event t-shirt if registration is completed by a specific date in early April. A $20 virtual option is also available. Children aged 5 and younger can participate for free. On-site registration is available on the event day, but a t-shirt is not included.
Additional Information
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable superhero costumes. The event is stroller, wagon, and pet-friendly. T-shirt pickup for pre-registered participants is scheduled for the day before the event at the Violence Free Futures office on Bellbrook Avenue.
