Event
Strides for Life 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio. The 10th annual event is organized by Life Connection of Ohio, Solvita and the Lions Eye Bank of West Central Ohio. The program includes an in-person 5K run/walk, a virtual 5K run/walk and a Kids' Fun Run. Registration opens January 22, 2026. Entry fees listed are $5 for the Kids' Fun Run and $25 for each 5K option.
Logistics and awards
The race place is Solvita, 2900 College Drive, Kettering, OH 45420. Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, at Life Connection of Ohio, 2800 Donation Circle, Kettering, OH 45420, during two time blocks each day. Awards will be presented to overall male and female finishers and to the top three males and females in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus. The 5K and virtual 5K registrants receive a Port and Company fleece crewneck sweatshirt and a finisher dog tag; a giveaway is also provided for the Kids' Fun Run.
