Event Overview
The Strides for Life 5K is a running event taking place in Kettering, Ohio, on Saturday, April 25, 2026. It is the event's 10th anniversary and has an 80s theme. The event's aim is to strengthen support, education, and recognition of organ, eye, and tissue donation in west central Ohio. It honors those who have given the gift of life.
Event Details
The event features three separate activities:
- Kids' Fun Run
- In-person 5K Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, plus the top three males and females in various age categories. Registration prices are $5 for the Kids' Fun Run and $25 for the in-person and virtual 5K events.
Participants in the 5K receive a Port & Co. Crystal Tie-Dye T-shirt, a fanny pack, and a finisher dog tag. There is also a giveaway for the Kids' Fun Run. Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, at Life Connection of Ohio in Kettering.
