Girls on the Run Spring Celebratory 5k

Event Overview
This event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026. It is hosted at Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. Parking is designated for Lot 17.
The event includes two distances:
- A 5k Run
- A Fun Run, which is a half-mile (approx. 0.8 km) distance
The Fun Run and the 5k share the same start and finish line. The Fun Run is not officially timed, but a clock will be available for participants to see their time. This run is described as an opportunity for younger siblings, friends, or anyone not ready for the full 5k.
The event is associated with the Girls on the Run program, which uses a running-integrated curriculum to promote confidence in girls. Participants in the program traditionally run with an adult "Running Buddy" for one-on-one support and encouragement. The event is open for everyone to participate.
