Event Overview
The Davidson Lands Conservancy hosts the 21st annual Run for Green in Davidson, North Carolina. This event utilizes a course that passes through residential neighborhoods and forested sections of the local greenway. Participants encounter varied terrain, as the route includes several hills rather than a flat profile.
The race starts and finishes at the Town Green on South Main Street. Available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
The Half Marathon and 10K courses are USATF certified. For the 10K event, a three-hour course limit is in place. Participants who complete their registration by September 11 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
The event location is situated near the local Farmer's Market and various downtown shops. Local accommodations such as the Davidson Village Inn and Homewood Suites are available for those staying in the area.
