Heartland 30k Series
The Heartland 30k Series consists of three 10 km races held over consecutive weekends in September and early October. Participants complete a total distance of 30 km across three different locations in Kansas City and Overland Park.
The series begins with the Plaza 10k, located at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. The second event is the WoodsStock 10k, which takes place at Corporate Woods in Overland Park. The final race is the Oktoberfest 10k, held on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard in Kansas City.
Participants receive the individual amenities from each of the three races, which include three separate race shirts and three finisher medals. Those who complete all three events in the series also receive a specific Heartland 30k series event shirt and a series finisher medal.
The series tracks the total combined time of all three races to determine rankings. Awards are provided for overall winners and across several age groups, starting from 19 and under up to 70 and older. Participants are required to collect race packets for each individual event at their respective designated times and locations.
