Heart of Cahaba Trail Daze is a multi-day trail event on May 21–23, 2027 at Cahaba River Park in Shelby County, Alabama, organized by Zombie Trail Races. The venue is centered near the start/finish area and a central aid station.

Race formats include:

The course is an approximately 3.1-mile wooded loop with roughly 150 feet of elevation gain and loss per lap. Each lap returns to the start/finish area where the central aid station, personal supplies, and crew are located. Only full laps completed within a race's time limit are counted; partial laps do not count.

The event supports a trailside home base. Participants may set up tents, canopies, chairs, and crew areas around the horseshoe near the start/finish; participants should follow race staff directions and keep the course, timing area, aid station, and emergency access routes clear. Parking follows designated instructions from race staff.

Night running requires a headlamp or reliable running light and backup lighting with sufficient battery power. Registrations are final and no refunds will be issued. Swag includes a custom event T-shirt, stickers, and finisher medals or buckles based on event and achievement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
