Fun Run Rudolph : Alabaster
Fun Run Rudolph is a family fun run held in Alabaster, Alabama, at Veterans Park. The event is presented as a noncompetitive community run that follows a marked course of approximately 2 miles. The start and finish share the same location, and the route accommodates strollers and wheelchairs.
Participants are led along the course by a person dressed as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and are guided to Santa Claus at the finish area. At the finish, participants receive a chocolate chip cookie and a finisher's medal. A wristband issued at check-in is used to claim the cookie and a photo opportunity with Santa. No professional photographers are provided; participants may bring their own cameras.
Facilities at the site include parking, restrooms, and a pavilion near the courts that serves as the start/finish area. One aid station with water will be available at the start/finish line. A raffle ticket is provided to participants for gift drawings that occur after the final participant completes the course.
Event entries include separate options for young children. Children aged two and under may participate free with a paying participant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
