Heart and Soul 5K : Howell, MI
The Heart and Soul 5K is a community running event held on June 6, 2026, on the Howell High School campus in Howell, Michigan. The course is described as super flat and paved, with the start and finish located on the school track/football field. The route is intended for runners, walkers and wheeled athletes.
The event benefits Ainsley’s Angels Michigan and Livingston County Special Olympics. Funds support Special Olympics Michigan programs, rental fees at practice facilities, uniforms and travel to games and tournaments. Ainsley’s Angels uses funds to purchase specialized racing chairs and to provide equipment that enables athletes to participate in endurance events. Neither organization charges their athletes to participate and both rely on donations.
Event services include chip timing, post-race snacks, event swag and raffle prizes. Awards are planned for the overall male and female winners, and all participants are entered into drawings for additional prizes. Strollers and service animals are permitted; other pets should remain at home.
