Huron 100
The Huron 100 is a point-to-point trail running event through the Huron River Watershed in Southeast Michigan held on June 6, 2026. The event offers two distances and routes that cross multiple regional parks and connect a variety of trail types and natural features.
The 100 mile route traverses nine different regional parks and is predominantly singletrack trail. It lists 82% trail surface, about 8200 ft of cumulative elevation gain, and a maximum elevation near 1100 ft. The total time allotted for the 100 mile distance is 32 hours.
The 50 mile route crosses four regional parks and is mostly trail as well. It lists 93% trail surface, about 4400 ft of cumulative elevation gain, and the same maximum elevation near 1100 ft. The total time allotted for the 50 mile distance is 15 hours.
Course features include sections on the Waterloo Pinckney Trail, pine forests at Huron Meadows, and bridges at Proud Lake, among other watershed scenery. The route is described as point-to-point, with the finish located some distance from the start. The event is organized by a registered 501c3 and returns proceeds to support the Huron River Watershed.
