The Huron 100
The Huron 100 is a pair of point to point trail running events held on June 6, 2026, through the Huron River Watershed in southeast Michigan. The race offerings are:
- 100 miles - point to point, 82% trail, 8200 ft cumulative gain, 9 regional parks
- 50 miles - point to point, 93% trail, 4400 ft cumulative gain, 4 regional parks
Both courses have a maximum elevation near 1100 ft. The 100 mile event has a total time allotment of 32 hours and the 50 mile event has a total time allotment of 15 hours. The route traverses varied terrain and parkland in the watershed, including sandy hills on the Waterloo Pinckney Trail, pine stands at Huron Meadows, and bridges in Proud Lake. The start area is listed at Waterloo State Recreation Area, Portage Lake.
The event is organized by a registered 501c3 and directs proceeds to support the Huron River Watershed. The organization is based in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, and the course passes through multiple southeast Michigan regional parks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
