Event Overview

The Head for the Cure 5K - Denver is a fundraising event supporting brain tumor research. The inaugural event takes place on June 14, 2026, at Sloan’s Park in Denver, Colorado. Funds raised will benefit local brain tumor research in the Denver area, Path to Hope, and national brain cancer programs and initiatives.

Schedule and Program

On race day, participants can pick up their packets starting at 8:00 AM. The event schedule includes a Kids Fun Run 100 Meter Dash at 8:45 AM, followed by the start of the main 5K run/walk at 9:00 AM. A Brain Tumor Survivor Photo is scheduled for 10:30 AM, with special recognitions for caregivers, survivors, and others taking place at 10:45 AM.

Recognitions and Beneficiaries

The event features four special recognition categories: Legacy of Love for caregivers, Healthcare Hero for medical professionals, Keeping the Faith for survivors, and a Memorial category to celebrate lives lost to brain cancer.
