The Haw Ridge Trail Race takes place on July 11, 2026 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The event uses a start/finish at 299 Old Edgemoor Drive (36.009670 N, -84.169004 W). Registration lists the following event options and prices:
- 8 Mile : price shown as $30 (price increases after July 3, 2026)
- 8 Mile (Student 14 and under) : price shown as $22
- Kids Trail Mile : price shown as $9
Registration notes state no refunds and no bib transfers. A Knoxville Track Club member discount is accepted. Special season-pass bundles and series registration offers are available for the broader trail series. Limited edition series T-shirts are printed, with one shirt per runner per season.
Course and safety
The 8 mile course includes some climbing early, then more flowing trail sections through Haw Ridge Park with substantial shoreline running along the lake before returning to the finish. The kids trail run is nearly all on trail and measures almost exactly one mile.
One aid station is planned roughly halfway, at a lakeside picnic table, with a limited supply of very small cups; runners are advised to carry their own hydration container. No headsets, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades or pets are allowed on course. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to run the adult race. An 18:00 per mile minimum pace will be enforced and a sweeper will monitor the course. Results will be posted on the event results page.
