Yorkshire Trail Runs at Harewood House
The Yorkshire Trail Runs take place within the grounds of Harewood House near Leeds. The venue encompasses over 1,000 acres of gardens, woodlands, and farmland. The event utilizes trail routes throughout these historic grounds, providing participants with views of the estate and its landmarks.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5 km (minimum age 11)
- 10 km (minimum age 15)
- Half Marathon (minimum age 17)
The courses consist of mixed terrain, including undulating trails and some tarmac sections. The 5 km route is intended for those new to trail running, while the 10 km and Half Marathon options provide longer distances through the estate.
This event is open to canicross participants, allowing one controlled dog per runner. All participants are tracked using live chip-timing services. Upon finishing, runners receive an event medal, merchandise, and a snack and drink. There is also an option to purchase an event T-shirt during the registration process.
Free parking is available on-site at Harewood House. The event village includes toilet facilities and a registration area located near the parking zone for convenience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
