Vale of York Half Marathon & 10K - 13 Sep 2026
The event takes place just outside Wistow, North Yorkshire, on closed roads south of York and north of Selby. It features a flat, single-lap road course for both distances and uses Wistow Common, Selby, YO8 3QZ as race HQ.

Entries open at 06:00 on 1 February 2026 and the organiser has set an overall entry limit of 1500 places. Entry fees range from £19.00 to £38.00 depending on distance, affiliation and whether a technical t-shirt is purchased; fees include race fees, card charges and admin. If the event has not sold out, on-the-day entry is available for an additional £5.00.
Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. The race licence is pending and the event is noted as suitable for wheelchairs.
Finishers may opt in or out of a medal; choosing to opt out results in a £2 donation to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Refunds are not available within four weeks of race day or once the event is sold out; earlier refunds may be requested in writing and are subject to a £3 processing charge.
