Vale of York Half Marathon & 10K 2026
The Vale of York event near Wistow, North Yorkshire comprises a road half marathon and a 10K that start and finish just outside Wistow and run on closed roads south of York and north of Selby. The course is flat and single lap, and the event is held in support of Sue Ryder. The 2026 edition is the twelfth running organised by EvenSplits.

Runners can expect a road race with water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage at race HQ on Wistow Common, Selby YO8 3QZ. The route is marked as suitable for wheelchairs and a route map is available.
Entry is limited to 1,500 places; availability and a current places count are maintained by the organiser. Entry fees are published in a tiered schedule with a range between £19.00 and £38.00; entry on race day may be available for an additional £5.00 if the event has not sold out. A technical finisher shirt is optional and runners may opt out of the finisher medal, in which case £2 will be donated to Sue Ryder. The race holds UKA licence status pending. Refunds are not available once the event is sold out or less than four weeks before race day; earlier refunds incur a £3 processing charge. No place transfers are allowed after 30 August 2026 and unauthorised entries will be disqualified and reported to UK Athletics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
