Vale of York Half Marathon & 10K 2026
The Vale of York event offers two road races on a flat course that uses closed roads south of York and north of Selby. Both races start and finish just outside Wistow, North Yorkshire, with Race HQ at Wistow Common, Selby YO8 3QZ. The organiser is EvenSplits and the event supports the charity Sue Ryder.

The field is limited to a maximum of 1600 entrants; once places are sold no more will be added. Entry prices listed range from £19.00 to £38.00 depending on distance, affiliation and whether a technical finisher t shirt is selected. The event offers an option to opt out of the finisher medal; if a competitor opts out, £2 will be donated to Sue Ryder. Competitors are also asked to choose whether to buy a finisher technical t shirt as part of an effort to reduce environmental impact.
Course details note a flat profile, a single lap, and a road surface. Facilities include water stations, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The race holds a UKA licence pending and the route is indicated as suitable for wheelchairs. Refund and transfer rules are stated in the entry terms.
