Vale of York Half Marathon and 10K 2026
The Vale of York event stages a half marathon (13.1 Miles) and a 10K on closed road courses south of York and north of Selby, with both races starting and finishing just outside Wistow. The course is a road route with a flat profile and a single lap for each distance. The event supports the charity Sue Ryder.

Race facilities listed include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Entry options include race-only and race plus technical t-shirt prices, with separate fees for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. To reduce environmental impact entrants may choose whether to buy a finisher technical t-shirt and may opt in or out of a finisher medal; opting out of the medal triggers a £2 donation to Sue Ryder. The event holds a UKA licence pending and is listed as suitable for wheelchairs.
Refunds are allowed only more than four weeks before race day subject to a £3 processing charge; entries are non-refundable once sold out or within four weeks of the event.
