Vale of York Half Marathon & 10K 2026
The event offers two road race distances near Wistow in North Yorkshire. Races run on closed roads south of York and north of Selby, with start and finish just outside Wistow and Race HQ at Wistow Common, Selby YO8 3QZ.

The course is flat and completed in a single lap. The event has an entry limit of 1500 places; 579 places remained at the time of this listing. A UKA race licence is pending. The organisers note the event is suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage at the venue. Entry fees vary by distance and affiliation, with prices shown between £19.00 and £38.00, and an additional £5.00 for entry on the day if places remain.
To address environmental impact, entrants choose whether to buy a finisher technical t shirt and whether to receive a finisher medal. Opting out of the medal triggers a £2 donation to the charity partner Sue Ryder. Refunds are not available once all places are sold or within four weeks of race day; earlier refunds may be requested in writing and are subject to a £3 processing charge.
