Vale of York Half Marathon & 10K 2026
The Vale of York Half Marathon and 10K take place on Sunday 13 September 2026 around Wistow in North Yorkshire. Both races start and finish just outside Wistow and run on closed, scenic roads south of York and north of Selby. The course is on road, flat in profile, and each race is a single lap.
The event is organised by EvenSplits and raises funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Raceday facilities include water stations, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters is listed as Wistow Common, Selby YO8 3QZ.
Entry is limited to 1500 places and a current entry availability figure is provided by the organiser. The event holds a UK Athletics licence application as pending and is noted as suitable for wheelchairs. Entry prices cover race fees, card charges and administration; published entry categories include options with or without a technical t shirt and a range of fees from £19.00 to £38.00. If a competitor opts out of the finisher medal, £2 will be donated to the charity partner.
Refund and transfer conditions apply. Refunds are not available once the event is sold out or within four weeks of race day; earlier refunds may be applied for in writing and are subject to a £3 processing charge.
