Oktoberfest in Rodley, Leeds
Oktoberfest is a running event that takes place along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, with registration at Rodley Cricket Club, Canal Bank Sports Ground, Moss Bridge Road, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1RL. The event offers a range of distances from short to ultra distance and uses a flat towpath route with gentle elevation around locks. The course is chip timed and fully marshalled. Feed stations are provided approximately every three miles; these are cup-less so runners should bring a bottle or cup. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race treats.

Practical information includes a Trail Running Association (TRA) licence and on-site parking at the cricket club available for a £5 cash contribution to club funds. Runner notes specify no over-ear headphones (bone-conducting or one in/one out only), GPX routes available for download, withdrawals to be reported to a marshal with distance drops sometimes allowed, and transfers or deferrals available online up to 72 hours before the event.
