Oktoberfest - Shipley

Its Grim Up North Running hosts Oktoberfest, a flat canal-side trail event along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal from Rodley, near the Barge Pub, Leeds LS13 1HP. Distances run from 5k up to Ultra Marathon, including 5k, 10k, 10 Miler, Half, 20 Miler, Marathon and Ultra. The mostly towpath course is flat with occasional locks, well marshalled and signed, with feed stations roughly every three miles.

Participants receive a bespoke medal and finish treats; toilets on site; chip timing. Participants are encouraged to race cup-less with reusable cups, and can download GPX routes.
