Bronte Half Marathon and 10k

A charity running event organised by Sue Ryder in Bronte Country, located between Haworth and Hebden Bridge in Oxenhope, West Yorkshire. The event offers two race distances:

  • 13.1 miles - half marathon
  • 10 km - 10k

The course is a single-lap, trail route with a hilly profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs. Race headquarters are at Penistone Hill Country Park, Haworth. Entry is limited to 200 places; 170 places were reported available.

Entry fees are shown per category: half marathon adult £17, half marathon under 18 £15; 10k adult £17, 10k under 18 £15. If the event does not sell out, on-the-day entry may be available for an additional £5.

Facilities at the event include water and toilets. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage storage. All finishers receive a pie and peas meal and a race memento.

Course record times are listed as 1:39:20 for men and 2:33:07 for women.
