About the race

The Bronte Half Marathon and 10k is a trail running event in Oxenhope and Bronte Country, Yorkshire, organised in support of Sue Ryder. The event takes place around Haworth and Hebden Bridge with Race HQ at Penistone Hill Country Park, Haworth. Digital route maps are provided by the organiser.

Distances

  • 13.1 Miles half marathon, trail, hilly, single lap
  • 10k challenging shorter route option

The course is a single lap on trail terrain with a hilly profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs. The event has an entry limit of 200 places; at the time of listing 151 places remained. Basic on-course facilities include water and toilets; there are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.

All participants receive a pie and peas meal and a race memento at the finish. Entry fees for adults and under 18s are listed separately for each distance and include race fees and administration charges. Entry on the day may be available for an additional fee if the event has not sold out. Course best times recorded for the field are 1:39:20 for men and 2:33:07 for women.
