Event Overview

The Bronte Half Marathon is a trail running event held in the heart of Bronte Country, situated between Haworth and Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire. This event takes place concurrently with a mountain bike challenge that has been held in the area for nearly two decades. The race headquarters is located at Penistone Hill Country Park.

Course Details

The event features a single distance:

  • 13.1 miles

The course is a single-lap trail route with a hilly profile. It is not suitable for wheelchair users. While water stations are provided along the route, there are no distance markers on the course. Digital maps for the route are available for participants to review. The entry limit for the event is 200 participants.

Facilities and Fees

On-site facilities include toilets at the event hub. However, there are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage areas available for runners. Participants receive a race memento and a meal of pie and peas at the finish line.
