Harbor Humane's Strut for Strays

Harbor Humane's Strut for Strays is a community walking event held on April 24, 2027 at Tanglefoot Park, 312 W Exchange St, Spring Lake, Michigan. The event offers untimed routes and proceeds support Harbor Humane's care, shelter, outreach, and advocacy for animals in the local community.

Distances available:

• 3K (approximately 1.8 miles) untimed route.
• Mini Strut (approximately 0.85 miles) shorter route.

Pets are welcome with specific rules. Dogs must be well behaved, comfortable around other animals and people, and remain on a standard 6-foot clip leash; retractable leashes are not permitted. Cats may be brought only in an enclosed pet stroller and must be comfortable around other animals and people.

Every registrant receives a finishing medal. Event T-shirts will be available for purchase at a discounted price during registration. Registration fees are stated for each route and apply to participation.

A community block party follows the walk and includes food trucks, a coffee cart, games, crafts, and vendor booths from local businesses. Participants may create fundraising pages to collect donations; funds raised support Harbor Humane's mission and services for animals in need.

All information is presented neutrally and describes the event format, pet policies, participant items, and post-event activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
