Blue Lake FireFighters St. Pat's 5k
The Blue Lake FireFighters St. Pat's 5k is a community run and walk event held on March 20, 2027, at the Blue Lake Township Fire Department, 1491 Owasippe Rd., Twin Lake, MI. Multiple distances are offered for different participants.
- 3.1 Miles 5K run and walk
- 880 Yards half mile for children 9 and under
Registration opens October 24, 2026. Shirt entries close March 14, 2027. Other entries close March 18, 2027. Listed registration fees include $25 for a 5K without a shirt and $30 for a 5K with a short sleeve shirt. A children entry fee of $5 applies for the half mile. First responder entries are listed with separate fees for entries with and without a shirt.
Awards include trophies for overall male and female winners and for male and female masters. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age group, starting with 9 and under and then every five year age group through 75 and over. A First Responders division awards medals to the top three and offers a traveling trophy plus a trophy to keep for teams of three or more. A kilt division requires wearing a kilt while running and awards medals to the top three in male and female divisions. All children in the half mile receive a medal.
All proceeds support the Blue Lake Township Fire Department. The event will be held regardless of weather. No dogs or pets are allowed. Strollers are allowed only with walkers. Day of registration is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
