7th Annual Hannah's Heroes of NC Glow Run
The event offers both in person and virtual options to raise funds for scholarships, service projects and youth programs. In person activities take place at Festival Park Washington Water Front, 119 Water Street, Washington, NC, on 10/3/2026. Virtual participation is available any time between 9/27/2026 and 10/03/2026 through the Interactive Race Day Experience app RaceJoy, which provides live tracking, GPS progress alerts and virtual cheers.
Distance options include:

- In person 1 Mile
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 1 Mile
The in person 5K is chip timed and USATF certified. Post race snacks will be provided at the in person event. T shirt sizes are guaranteed for participants who register by September 5; sizes offered are Youth Small to XL and Adult Small to XXL. Packet pickup is scheduled on 10/2 in Washington and Greenville and on race day at Festival Park; virtual participant swag bags will be mailed.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers, the top three male and female finishers in each age category 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus, and to top family teams composed of one participant under 18 and one participant 18 or older.
