The event is a fundraiser whose proceeds support Project Empty Tomb, the Bear Grass Charter School Food Pantry, and the Rodgers Elementary Book Bag Program. A short devotional segment is included to acknowledge the empty tomb on Easter. Food at the finish line is listed as sausage dogs and donuts.
