US Road Running - Punta Gorda
The US Road Running event in Punta Gorda offers multiple distance options for participants, including a 5K, 10K, and a Half Marathon. The race takes place on an asphalt course located at Cooper Street. All participants are required to register online prior to the event, as there is no registration available on-site.
The event follows specific course layouts for each distance:
- 5K: Completed by running a 1.56-mile out-and-back course two times.
- 10K: Completed by running a 1.56-mile out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: Completed by running a 2.18-mile out-and-back course six times.
All distances are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Participants can pick up their race packets starting 30 minutes before the event begins. Facilities are available at the venue, with bathrooms located near the starting line. Parking is situated by the local baseball fields.
