Event Overview
The Turkey Tag 5K is a running event that includes a 5K and a 1-mile fun run. It takes place at Crystal Lake Park in Cape Coral, Florida.
The Race Format
This is described as a "Turkey Tag Challenge." One participant dressed as a turkey gets a five-minute head start. The other participants then chase this runner. Event Details
The event is part of the Cape Coral PAL Race Series. Proceeds benefit youth programs run by the Police Athletic League (PAL), which support mentorship and community connections. The race is organized in partnership with Apex Promoz and the Cape Coral Run Group.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a limited-edition race t-shirt. The 5K is chip-timed, with awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in multiple age groups.
