Event overview
The Pirate event is scheduled for April 11, 2026, in Punta Gorda, Florida, at South County Regional Park (670 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place. The event offers finisher medals, shirts and gear, awards, series points, and a best costume category.
Course and logistics
All courses use asphalt surfaces. Parking is available by the baseball fields. Bathrooms are located by the starting line.
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment where the out-and-back measures 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that segment twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles and repeats that segment six times. Maps for the courses are available through the organizer.
