US Road Running - Punta Gorda

Race Information
The US Road Running event in Punta Gorda takes place at South County Regional Park. Participants can choose from three main distances on race day. The run is held on an asphalt surface, and parking is available near the baseball fields. Essential facilities, including bathrooms, are located by the starting line. All participants must register online in advance, as there is no registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start.
Course Details
The event features out-and-back routes designed for various distances. The course layout depends on the chosen event:
- 5K: This distance follows a 0.78-mile course, completing the out-and-back loop twice.
- 10K: This distance follows a 0.78-course, completing the out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: This distance follows a 1.09-mile course, completing the out-and-back loop six times.
Prizes and Regulations
All participants who finish their respective events receive a finisher medal. While not mandatory, participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start of the event.
