The Englewood Beach Turtle Trot takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Chadwick Park in Englewood, Florida. The event features runs along the shoreline of Englewood Beach.

Course & Details

The 5K course is a beach run. Participants head north on the sand for 1.55 miles before turning around to return to the finish line.

All participants in the 5K and 1 Mile events receive a custom sea turtle beach towel and a commemorative turtle finisher medal that also functions as a magnet.

Awards

For the 5K event only, awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers. Age group awards are also presented for the top three male and female finishers in each category, based on net chip time. The age groups are: 0–10, 11–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.

Logistics

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, with details to be announced. On race morning, packet pickup is available from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM at Chadwick Park. Parking is available at Chadwick Park at Englewood Beach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
