Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M - Venice, FL
Medal Madness takes place at Shamrock Park in Venice, Florida, with the start located on the path behind the Nature Center. The course surface is a mix of concrete and asphalt. Bathrooms are available in the Nature Center.
Registration is required through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is offered prior to the race. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Distances:
- 5K - out-and-back course, completes the out-and-back one time.
- 10K - out-and-back course, completes the out-and-back two times.
- Half Marathon - out-and-back course, completes the out-and-back four times.
The 5K and 10K use a mapped out-and-back route. The half marathon follows a separate mapped out-and-back segment repeated for the distance. Finisher medals are provided and the event lists awards, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, and series points.
