Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Millennium Park in Danville, KY. The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The event page notes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a 0.78-mile segment that forms a 1.56-mile out-and-back. The 5K repeats that out-and-back two times; the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile segment that forms a 2.18-mile out-and-back, repeated six times. The race has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
