Constitution 5K Run for the Arts
The Constitution 5K Run for the Arts is a community road race held in Danville, Kentucky on September 13, 2026. The event is organized by the Art Center of the Bluegrass and will mark the 48th running of the race, which began in 1978. The course is described as mostly flat and fast and runs through the downtown streets, starting at Constitution Square.
The event includes a 5K running and walking option and provides water at an aid station on the course and at the finish area. Restroom facilities are available at the Art Center and Constitution Square. An awards ceremony will take place at Weisiger Park after the race.
Online pre-registration opens July 31 and closes September 12. Online registrants who register by August 22 will receive a unique Run for the Arts t-shirt in the size of their choice; registrations after August 22 do not include a t-shirt. Online pre-registration closes on September 12 and on site registration will be available at Weisiger Park on race day. The stated registration fee is $35.00.
