Harrodsburg Oktoberfest 5K Walk/Run
The Harrodsburg Oktoberfest 5K Walk/Run takes place on September 19, 2026, in Downtown Harrodsburg, Kentucky, with a scenic course through the downtown area and a distance of 3.1 miles.
Entry includes a race t-shirt, with sizes not guaranteed, and free race photos will be posted later. Medals will be awarded by category. Participants aged 21 and over may receive a one dollar discount on beer purchases at the Oktoberfest beer tent upon presenting their race bib. Food and fellowship are part of the broader Oktoberfest activities.
Registration opens December 4, 2025 and closes September 19, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Team awards will be given for biggest team on race day, best costumes, and most pets walked or run. Awards also include overall top three male and female finishers and top finishers by age group across multiple brackets from youth to 70 and up.
Strollers are allowed. Dogs are welcome on the course provided they are current on vaccinations, kept on a leash at all times, and are friendly with people and other dogs.
Proceeds benefit the Kids and Student Ministry of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Race check in will occur in Downtown Harrodsburg on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
